Queensland Mental Health Week

Mental illness can affect anyone. About half of all Australians experience it in their lifetime, and about one in five experience a mental health issue in any one year.

Queensland Mental Health Week (8–14 October 2018) promotes the importance of mental health and wellbeing, to reduce associated stigma, and to celebrate the service of mental health workers.

During Mental Health Week you can get involved, find events, and access resources and help for yourself and others. There are also stories to discover about mental health and the workers who help those experiencing mental health issues.
