Buy Smart in 2019

We’re encouraging Queensland students to help each other spot and avoid scams, know their rights as consumers, and be more capable working with and understanding money.

Queensland students in Years 4 to 12 can get creative and develop a project that:

  • identifies an important issue related to shopping or money
  • explains the issue to a target audience of your choice
  • gives some helpful hints and tips that can help them with this issue.

Entries are open until 20 September 2019.

With over $15,000 in cash prizes for entrants and their schools, the competition helps schools to teach consumer and money issues in a fun and creative way.
