2018 Reconciliation Awards

Queensland businesses, community groups, educational institutions, and partnerships taking positive steps towards reconciliation were recognised and celebrated in an awards ceremony in Cairns on 30 May.

The 2018 award winners are:

  • Community category
    Cherbourg Historical Precinct Group Inc for Ration Shed Museum Reconciliation Fun Run
  • Education category
    Mabel Park State High School for Miracles at Mabel
  • Partnership category
    Queensland Theatre, Lone Star Company, Ergon Network and Energex, part of the Energy Queensland Group for My Name is Jimi
  • Premier’s Reconciliation Award
    Mabel Park State High School for Miracles at Mabel
    and
    Office of the Commonwealth Games, Department of Innovation, Tourism Industry Development and the Commonwealth Games and Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Organising Corporation for Delivering the GC2018 Reconciliation Action Plan
